For us, Sparkle is synonymous with sustainability, in all that we select and in all that we stand for - we are first and foremost committed to doing our business in a responsible, ethical, and long-lasting manner. We believe that making thoughtful decisions today can ensure a better environment for tomorrow’s generations.

Therefore, these sustainability goals aren’t just guidelines on paper; they represent all of us, our way of life, and what we passionately work towards every day. In a nutshell, they truly inspire us, and reflect our core principles of sustainability, integrity, and safety.

Good Health and Wellbeing
We keep the wellbeing of our customers as well as our employees as the top priority - right from creating a safe working environment, to the machinery we use at our production plant to our organizational structure and policies, all the way to our supply chain mechanics, our mission is to be human-centric while offering safe, healthy, sustainable and innovative personal care products.
Climate Change
Our aim is to be carbon-neutral by the year 2025; therefore, our efforts have been, are, and will be focusing on energy efficiency, completing the shift to renewable energy, reducing our manufacturing waste going to landfill, offering more biodegradable and compostable products, optimizing our entire supply chain to reduce our carbon footprint and utilizing innovative raw materials that support a circular economy.
Gender Equality
Up to 23% of Indian menstruators drop out of school once they hit puberty (source: UNICEF); conversely, when adolescent individuals HAVE access to menstrual hygiene products, it’s been found that the school dropout rates reduce by 90%. Across the globe, millions of menstruators miss up to 50-60 days of school or work every year because they cannot afford menstrual hygiene products. Access to sanitary napkins can provide menstruators equal opportunities to reach their full potential at both school and work. We work together with local schools, communities, and NGOs to distribute sanitary napkins and above all, create menstrual hygiene awareness on the whole.
Responsible Consumption and Production
We believe in circular solutions – this means we are constantly working on improving our production process, starting right from exploring different varieties of bio-based, biodegradable and compostable materials to choosing recycled paper-based packaging, to moving towards our eventual goal of having an entire product life-cycle result in ZERO waste. Besides applying new environmentally-friendly technologies at our manufacturing facility, we regularly explore new kinds of sustainable raw materials such as banana fibre agro-waste that can support a circular economy.
Life On Land
We use 100% FSC certified fluff pulp made from responsibly sourced wood-based raw materials and nonwovens made from OEKO-TEX certified fibres. We are committed to not testing our products on animals. Since our biodegradable products decompose and breakdown into organic material (unlike plastic-based products that remain unchanged in the landfills for around 600-800 years), our products do not pollute the environment nor do they harm the ecosystem.
